Another step forward! After having been awarded the ESG integration and Green Bond LuxFlag labels, NN IP is now proud to announce that 5 SRI Funds are registered on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX) at the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LSE). This once again reaffirms our long-term commitment towards Responsible Investing and our practice leadership on the topic.

The registered funds are the following:

  • NN (L) Global Sustainable Equity
  • NN (L) European Sustainable Equity
  • NN (L) Global Equity Impact Opportunities
  • NN (L) Patrimonial Balanced European Sustainable
  • NN (L) Euro Green Bond Fund

The LSE has launched the LGX in 2016 in the aim to provide issuers and investors an environment for securities that are truly green, social or sustainable. Today it is a world-leading platform dedicated exclusively to securities that are 100% green, social or sustainable.

The main advantage of LGX is that all securities are recognised as either 100% green, 100% social or a blend of both in line with recognised international standards and principles.

The registration and alignment with recognised international standards and principles on sustainable investing offers investors a guarantee on SRI products by ensuring that its process and practices are based on sound methodologies with a strong requirement for transparency and quality information.

The LGX contributes to increase the visibility and credibility of SRI products among savers in Luxembourg as well as neighbouring countries.

Adrie Heinsbroek, Head of Responsible Investment at NN IP, comments: ‘We are proud to make this next step of registering our funds on the LGX, which once again recognises NN IP’s long-term commitment to SRI and our practice leadership. I would also like to emphasise that ESG integration infuses all NN IP’s asset classes, and we continue to evolve and expose our investment strategy to the next frontiers of sustainability.’
